Taking the Time (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by DualWeaponSnacker
A shift came in today and worked several hours (warming, drive, bar) with a fever apparently. We are all furious at her. She didn’t tell any of us and just left when the next shift came in. So, I texted my SM and said I think I’m ready to take the leave starting next week, but I feel like the damage has been done.

That was so fucking inconsiderate. We are a skeleton crew right now.

I also had a shift at my store do this.About 1 week before the covid chaos really took off. but its super inconsiderate for people to still work while sick. ESPECIALLY if they are going around bragging about have 50+ hours of sick time.

That is wrong of her, but who do you think you're interacting with all day? Your customers have fevers, the difference is that you saw her wash her hands.
