So my store closed for 2 weeks and I live with roommates who are total addicts. With them working from home I saw them getting Starbucks literally twice or three times per day and it was driving me insane.
I taught the one who likes coffee how to use my French press and coffee grinder, and I bought the one who loves green tea fraps a matcha milkshake mix and some vanilla syrup. We experimented a little and we’ve made a recipe that tastes even better than Starbucks. Now both are staying home and making their own drinks. God bless all y’all who still have to work drive thru! Now there’s two less people in them <3

In Korea during their quarantine coffee recipes were going viral on YouTube that people started making in their own homes (look up Dalgona coffee on YouTube). Would be cool if that happened in the US too and everyone started sharing their recipes

Americans could use a little more self-sufficiency and a little less self-indulgence right now that’s for sure! Let’s hope people realize these things really aren’t that hard to make haha!

I am a healthcare worker and I thank you for working and keeping a smile on your face. Sometimes, coffee is truly the only thing I have to look forward to after I watch another patient die.

If we only had to serve front liners or essential infrastructure, I’d do it all day every day to pay you guys back for what you do! Just trying to encourage those who aren’t on that list to stay home!

It was a local buy from a bulk grocery store but I found the same one on amazon $1 it’s just more expensive online than where I bought it. We added a little higher quality matcha and some torani vanilla syrup and it was bomb
