Can someone bring clarity for me? (self.starbucksbaristas)

I saw on the partner hub the announcement for the extension of the catastrophe pay. My understanding of it is that paid leave has been extended to May 3rd *even though I already chose to go on leave when they first gave us the option.* I want to be sure that I am reading this right so I am prepared when I talk it over with my SM. Thank you!

You are correct. It is also true that in areas where shifts are available at open locations you may choose to take shifts again if YOU WANT to, and receive the $3/hr extra. You are IN NO WAY expected or obligated to return before the 3rd. This is meant to be your personal choice, as was made quite clear by the entire leadership team. Whatever you do be safe, be well!!
