How much luck would I have if I just asked for a free drink/recovery card?(self.starbucksbaristas)

I see middle aged women scream and verbally abuse you and then get a free drink. If I cut out the abuse and just ask for a free drink, what luck might I have?

How’s about we all just be decent to one another? FOR FREE!

A hard no from me. I have so many customers trying to get free shit out of me all day, regulars or not. So just by mentioning that things should be free, you already get my blood boiling.

Why is these even a question, lol
It's like asking how much luck would I have going to a car dealership and asking for a free car, or a real estate agent for a free house.

Don’t act like Karen isn’t getting free drinks with her scams and verbal abuse.

I'm definitely definitely not. I can't tell if you're taking the piss or if you've forgotten the utility and actual frequency of the recovery cards. They aren't supposed to be handed out like candy.
I really hope you're just taking the piss here lmao

I see so many stories on here about people getting free drinks after acting rude. in my own experience in customer service I have seen managers just bend over backwards to give people free drinks when they outright lied or were harassing us. why should I have to pay for a drink if you give a screaming banshee one for free?

You are absolutely taking the piss, come on. I get that quarantine has people bored, but come on.

If you claim you’ve have a bad drink previously then you’ll most likely get a free drink, you don’t have to be mean! But I would recommend tipping

Thanks for actually giving me a tip. everyone else out here thinks I am a jerk

I think we are just all a little stressed lately and they mistook your intentions. It’s not like free drinks come out of our own pocket, so I don’t see the fuss about it since we’re also encouraged to “make the moment right.” Just don’t do it more than once at one location! :)

You see baristas being abused by other customers and your mind goes to this? Better check yourself lmao

Uh honestly I would say it depends. If you’re a rando and ask me I’d be like uh?? No?? But if you’re sweet, talk to me like a person and/ or a regular sometimes I just give it to them on the house. But that’s me. It’s different per barista
