feeling guilty for taking my partner food/drink? (self.starbucksbaristas)

hey everyone! I’m on cat pay because my dad is older and I want to self isolate as much as possible. That being said I also have been taking my partner food/drink because it helps me out- not having to buy as many groceries etc. I still feel guilty though esp because every drive through is swamped in my district- I’ve been going to the store closest to my house that isn’t my own place of work, and I feel horrible every day!! how do you all feel about partners coming through the drive through to get their food and drink?

Only problem we had was a partner who didn't seem like one when they ordered (said everything wrong and got defensive when we asked what store they worked at) then called my store manager a nasty bitch when she pulled up to the window.

Nah one of the people working recognized her. We also ID people that seem to be trying to pull one over. As long as the last name matches you're good

i mentioned this to an SM at a local store yesterday because i feel the same way. her response was that i shouldn’t feel guilty at all, and that the exact reason starbucks is expanding benefits right now is to help us, and that they were always happy to see me. don’t let anyone guilt you about this. please take advantage of the benefit. it’s also just nice to see familiar faces every day. i’d suggest remembering to tip, though.

i dont mind at all! obviously stay home if youre feeling sick, but the whole point of the extra discounts is to help people with your situation.
