Ah yes a total vibe, my store is slow enough to play card games and chat while we basically all sit in the cafe area waiting for drive thru orders.

Succ, my store is the only open store in a hour and half’s drive, and we operate in a small tourist town. So sometimes it’s pretty hectic and sometimes it’s really chill.

I’m glad y’all are enjoying your cafe tho lol.

Haha, in my state we’re supposed to get a meal after working 5 hours. I took the CAT pay, but before all this was going on we were so understaffed mid-close, as a shift I rarely ever was able to take a meal break. So, they change my punches every week to make it look like I took a meal break and that I was there 30 min later than I actually was. That’s all illegal AF. But, that’s what all the shifts do at my store.

Yea, but many of us usually get 4-5.75 hour shifts usually.

you get a meal time if you work over a certain amount of hours in one shift
