anyone else getting rashes/breaking out from masks? (self.starbucksbaristas)

ive been working 8.5 hour shifts every day and our AC hasnt been working great so i sweat A LOT at work. masks get so wet that i feel like im getting waterboarded (on Top of the regular stress of being at work as of late) and now im getting horrible red bumps all over my chin/jawline. ive been using my usual sensitive skin laundry detergent to wash them so idk what i can do. anyone other baristas having this problem?

Its most likely heat rash - this is exactly why I took the CAT pay when they started requiring masks. I just hope they become optional when we return in May!!!

Yes!! I’m getting them on my nose area and I think it’s some sort of heat rash but mine have been sticking around for longer than a heat rash normally does so I’m kinda confused 🤷🏻♀️

I used to work in a lab and had to wear a surgical mask the entire time... I'd react all the time so they got me special masks with a sensitive lining and the reactions went away. Damn I wish I'd kept some now
