what number is espresso on in our grinders? (self.starbucksbaristas)

hi guys I wanna get my markout tommorow from a drive through but honestly I forget what "number" espresso is on in our grinders... I need it to be finer because my espresso machine at home is pulling shots too quick.

I have heard it varies by state because they use different grinders. For me, it's 7.

see I think ours is 8 in my area but honestly I can't remember.. the lower the number the finer right? idk why I'm having such a huge brainfart with this rn

yes but from what I remember it's in a different colour and we have a bigger one and smaller one.. smaller ones for clovers.. bigger for everything else
