Feeling It. (self.starbucksbaristas)

Anyone else FEELING IT NOW? I’m An SSV & I’ve continued working through all this, I’ve had 2 fellow SSVs leave and almost half my baristas take the CAT pay, out manager left before all this, and we have had 3 over seeing managers since then, but WOW! Today was just rough, it’s hard to catch on to this new routine and I know I should be putting on a smile for the rest of the team but being on DTO for most of the day and getting out more than 1 hour late today really just did it for me. Don’t get me wrong I love working at the Stabs but it just hard showing up each and every single day and setting the tone. How are the rest of you handling it?

Its definitely worse now. The extra money has been my only incentive.

Agreed, but even with CAT pay, those checks are coming out pretty good.

I'm sorry you are in this situation. My cafe store closed 3 weeks ago. Some things should improve for the drive thrus with more locations open in May, hopefully. Stay safe. Thanks for doing your best with a lousy situation.

Sounds like you’ve had a rough experience. But it will get better soon. Partners are starting to come back from cat pay. It sucks you haven’t had an SM dedicated to your store to oversee but hopefully your DM is doing their best to support you and the partners.

I couldn't take it anymore and took the cat pay after this past weekend. I burned right the hell out.

Yeah my manager (for the moment) is taking the weekend off and I’m so jealous, it’s draining. I’m happy I still have a job but still

Same. I find I have to rotate people more often so no one is one one position long. That’s the only way we’re getting through it.

Yeah that definitely helps the only thing is that we have some borrowed partners from a cafe store that don’t know drive so I’m very limited as far as flexing the play goes.

Are customers acting weird?
itsangel_bro [OP] 1 points 3y ago
I wouldn’t say it’s the customers entirely, it’s just non stop, and the lack of coverage, getting out late every night, and falling behind on tasks.
