I can barely believe we get 20 free mental health sessions a year as a perk now. I have known I could use a lot of help through therapy (addiction issues, depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts), but it was too expensive to commit to. (20 sessions at $150 an hour is frickin $3,000) I got the email about Lyra, went on the website and did the little questionnaire, and instantly got about 10 therapists to choose from. I called the one who seemed like the best fit, and made an appointment for this past Tuesday. I went and saw her and already have my appointment scheduled for next Tuesday. This is a huge gift and I am so incredibly grateful to work for a company that would provide this. THANK YOU STARBUCKS, not only is it the most fun job I have worked so far, but perks like this and the college program are really outstanding and I actually do feel cared about as an employee. Everyone should use this perk, it could literally save your life, and I’m pretty sure it will help save mine! Just wonderful.
