Opening Timelines need to move back. (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by sassy7girl

“When asked how long it could be extended past its April 27 date, Inslee told KOMO News it would be “unwise” to ballpark a timeline.”

“We’ve got to make decisions based on science, data and the health of our people," he said.

Bravo Gov Inslee!

——-
Kevins letter today said ‘we’re 6 weeks in’ by which he probably means washington state- (& new york, cali, louisiana, etc.)

MANY other states are approx 2-4 weeks behind this timeline for peak cases & use of (hospital) resources.

& yet- starbucks wants to reopen MOST stores may 5, in various states that have shelter in place orders into may and early june. its even more risky then, than it is now. ( or has been until now)

IF we are going state by state, city by city etc - why are we opening stores in areas that have not YET seen the virus activity that washington state has? (& that state is EXTENDING THEIR ORDERS) one would think that with ( sbux) being headquartered there, we’d follow Gov. Inslee’s lead & push store openings further out accordingly.

it seems we are being lulled into thinking this is over when in fact for many states it is just beginning/ we’re being led like cows to the... ( fill in the blank).

Did you see how one artocle I read said something along the lines of kevin trying to work with Trump to get the US back on track in terms of economics or something? Does that feel like a 'thing' because it feels like a 'thing'?

There basically IS no testing, for almost every state, & contact tracing is in its infancy stage, if that. It’s a very DANGEROUS time to be reopening stores, lives will be lost because of it.
