With unpaid leave is our job secured and do you have to do certain things to take it?

tbh my manager explained it as you need a valid reason not to come back, and if you don't have one then corporate wants your 2 weeks.

You still need to apply thru Sedgwick. (For LOA) Call the PRSC for info or check the hub.
Your benefits are protected.

It should be like the ‘coffee break’ where you are guaranteed the SAME position after 6 mos. & a comparable one after 1 yr. (a coffee break is different/ only after 10 years service are you eligible and benefits need to be purchased thru cobra.

I would check what your rights are to the exact same position so you know ahead of time if your SM doesn’t uphold that.

The unpaid leave they’re offering I believe is 30 days after CAT pay ends. Then they can have you come back, or be let go. (That’s for everyone. I’m not sure about specific cases)

Can you get to the partner hub at home?
RaptorSwaggor 2 points 3y ago
Yes, you just have limited Access to things you normally would have but enough access to find covid info.

To my knowledge your job is secure but I think it depends on how long your leave is. But double check.

There should be lots of info about it under Coronavirus news on your partner hub. You can access that info on any work computer and your shift supervisor can help you find it for sure if you need! Info is dependent on if your a U.S. or Canada partner or for sure if your in another country :)
