Information on insurance eligibility at the moment (self.starbucksbaristas)

So, I [19] don’t know if anyone else has ran into this issue regarding their health insurance and whatnot in the midst of this pandemic, but I am just going to let everyone know about my situation for a heads up.
I lost coverage March 31st because I was 13 hours off from being able to keep my benefits. I got my insurance in early January and they had eventually sent me a notice (that I didn’t have a chance to see because I currently live with my parents and they probably stuffed it somewhere) in February 4th, not even a month after getting health coverage telling me that I was going to lose coverage March 31st. The difficult thing about this is that at the time when I got my health coverage, I was ineligible for marketplace since at the time I was eligible for Starbucks benefits.
I am just sending this out there for anyone confused. They can kick you off health insurance right now even with the pandemic going on based on your hours sometime before March I think (if someone knows the exact details, please feel free to share them). But if you’re getting catastrophe pay right now, you won’t be affected next audit because you’re still getting paid for those hours you are not working.
In my case, I am a bit confused as to how I became ineligible after just a few weeks of having the insurance in January. On the bright side though, at least my mom can finally get insurance (she couldn’t afford any marketplace plans on her own) since I won’t be forced to use Starbucks insurance ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Still wack though.
