You need to talk to your manager, or corporate, and find out what is going on. Maybe you can continue employment if you want it, and it is still available. But you need to find out what is going on.

Hey there, I’m am SM and you should be paid cat pay through your last day. Definitely call your SM and DM. I would request to be added back to the chat. You have two weeks left and shouldn’t feel like they’ve already written you off. Many partners leave and then come back. How you’re treated when you’re leaving matters.

Yeah, you need to contact your SM or DM and get your information from them.

If your numbers still work, Partner Hub should have a the information you need to stay updated on everything happening during the pandemic. You can get to it from your phone or a computer at home. I’m sorry this is happening to you :/

If you're not getting a new job, why don't you just go back?

I was going to leave so I could put more hours at my other job, but my SM negotiated me to 1 day a week LOL. Ironically at the point I was going to leave, I did the cat pay for 2 weeks, and now I'm going to do 2 days a week while they need the help.
Point is, things change, I remember during training being told, if you feel like quitting please talk to us first, maybe you can go on leave or something. So my impression was retention of employees is a priority. If you want to keep working should talk to your manager. If you feel like maybe bridges have been burned there, consider seeing if a different store near you needs help, maybe you could transfer.

If your separation date is May 3rd and your manager didn’t separate you sooner you get cat pay until then. Work chat is not a Starbucks thing but a voluntary thing which I usually discourage because it encourages baristas to work off the clock. They probably took you out because a lot of it won’t be relevant to you

This was my story!!! I gave my notification in February to leave April 12th. Two weeks prior to my quit date I decided to take cat pay. Besides the gory details that resulted in me doing so, I got my last check. You definitely should be getting paid through the 3rd. I got paid through mine. My store doesn't have any kind of group chat, so I can't answer for that. Is it possible to reach out to you SM or DM directly? With the job situation, I feel ya too. I asked my manager to stay because mine fell through, but it was a no go for me. If you don't feel comfortable reaching out to the SM or DM (I didn't) reach out to partner resource. The person I talked to was really nice.

Go ahead and let me know if this is none of my business but why would you quit now? And why would you quit without another job lined up?

Sounds like they gave their notice before COVID19 became a thing. With the super long notice, they were probably thinking they'd have another job lined up by the time they said they were going to leave. However, Fire Natio- I mean, COVID19 hell broke loose and now they aren't able to get the said job lined up.

Yeah. That’s what I’m assuming. It’s not super clear in the post what the post is even about or really asking.

They gave notice, situation changed. They want to renege on their notice since the situation has changed. I think they want to know how to go about reneging them quitting or if it's a burned bridge.

Ah, yeah that’s a tough situation. I’m sure a DM or SM would keep you around. My store just hired two people with another on the way. But I’m sure hours will be tough to come by with people coming off CAT pay soon
