well idk if other regions are but i know mine is - how does everyone feel about the block schedule for may? i guess it makes sense but im separated from pretty much all the partners i enjoy working with (my SM told me because he needed balance and he thinks im one of his strongest partners which did make me feel good!!) im scared that may will absolutely suck culture-wise at my store but i guess i understand why they are making us do it. just ready for this to be over.

What is this block schedule ?

The SM has people grouped up that work every shift together, only working with those coworkers in your “group.” My manager said something about how it’s supposed to help prevent spread of the virus between us somehow...

i hate it so much, i only get to work literally 12 houra a week when I'm used to working almost 30. there's better ways they could have gone about implementing the new block schedules.

im on the 3-day schedule and i was expecting like 15 hours but i have almost my regular hours because he has me working long shifts like that is the quickest way to burn a partner out but okay

Do you still get paid your normal 30?
ellie_bear19 1 points 3y ago
i get the extra $3 an hour for the days I'm in the store, but for the days I'm not it's like cat pay where they'll meet your hours, but at my normal rate

Ahhhh okay

Hmm when I was working before this all I had the same one day a week shift and I opened with two of the same people. It would change who the 4th person would be, but we worked really well together and have our own routine since we literally worked that same shift together every Saturday for months.
It could help everyone develop a way of doing things and be more efficient. I know my group is together because we work really well together but also we had to time to develop that.
