The Evasive "Policy" (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by 0OO00O000
Hey guys,

I'm a barista and I've been with Starbucks for a year or two. With this whole virus debacle, we have a lot of different partners coming to our store, causing debate such as "policy says to do this" and "no, policy says to do that". What policy? Can I read this policy so I can actually know what I'm talking about? This goes for anything from safety regulations to general procedures to beverage making. I've been looking on Partner Hub for an hour and I'm frustrated because all I'm getting is broken links. Did they take the Store Resources offline so we can't read work material if we're not at work?

The hub is your resource to figure out what the starbucks standard is. However as you noted certain parts of the hub are not available if you're not at work. That's because time paid = time worked. They don't want you to be able to do work off the clock.

Thanks. When I clock on, where should I go to on the Hub?

Depends on what you're looking for.

On the front page are all the Covid resources and updates. You should be able to view those at home.

Drink recipes, cleaning routines and that kind of thing can be found on the store home page.
