Colorado. Yes, only mobile order. We have tables set up at the front with a barista handing out drinks so the customers don't come in

That makes sense, I’m happy they’re taking that precaution in Colorado. Hopefully it will be effective in helping ease the spread. Stay safe! Thank u for sharing x

Northern Nevada here.
We have a couple cafe stores already opened in the area. They started with 25 transactions for the whole day - slowly building up to about half of normal. So we are not expecting a busy day with JUST mobile order/UBER. We get faxes of drink/food orders for 10 to 30 people from pharmaceutical reps.
Our store is near a couple health care places. one major hospital, a clinic, and smaller doctor offices respectively.
My parents are both in their 70s and on 02 full time. Worries about getting them sick are paramount. I am their caretaker of sorts visiting them every other day or so to keep up on things they can't get to. My manager is truly kind and focused on us above all else. So here is to hoping that I don't have to work at the door and can be inside most of the time during operation.

Wisconsin is still in the #Saferathome order (ie state of emergency shelter in place) so cafes remain closed until at least May 24. I feel like it'll get extended until at least June as well because of how stupid people are being. Our curve is no longer flattening...

I think a lot of states are still under this type of order. So far, the governor of California hasn't lifted the stay at home orders, yet my cafe store in Southern California is reopening on Monday. I'm pretty positive in about 2 weeks, that Orange County is going to see quite an increase in the number of cases due to the hundreds of Starbucks opening back up.

I’m sorry to hear the curve isn’t easing up in Wisconsin. I hope you’re okay. Thank u for sharing. It’s a shame ppl have to goof things up

Yeah my neighbors have had countless people over to their house every day this past week and have been partying it up until at least 10 p.m. every day. It's frustrating knowing that people are so blatantly ignoring what the governor has mandated so close to my own home. Based on both mine and my husbands' experiences with our part time jobs as essential workers (he works at a hardware store and I at Starbs) we can't believe that this pandemic is ever going to end because of how stupid and inconsiderate people are right now. Hubs even said they had to close the doors and close the yard three times yesterday just to keep traffic lower. People are being so stupid and obtuse about this whole thing and it's so frustrating.

this is not true, my store is opening the 7th
CriticalSheep1 points3y ago
Your store is opening on the 7th, but not your cafe. Mine is opening on the 9th but only for Drive Thru.
naadzzz1 points3y ago
we are a cafe only, so mobile orders can come in and people can order but they just can’t stay inside, it’s just grab and go
BonerPenisDickWeiner1 points3y ago
Texas here. We've opened it but only for mobile and from 7am-11am, we're also only allowing in one customer at a time. However, we've had to somewhat section off the entrance because customers kept coming in and touching/grabbing other peoples drinks.

Virginia. No, we technically don’t have an expiration date for our lockdown and our governor used to be a pediatrician, so everything will probably be closed down till mid summer. We’re hoping by June 1st we’ll start transitioning back to normal.

In Ottawa there aren’t many cafes ope. Yet... the store I am at has been 2 weeks now open and entering it’s 3rd... we were Uber only week 1 and week 2 MOP opened... it was slow to start but today we closed with 2800$ in sales and 187 customers! Each day is busier than the last!
