Hi lobby only stores that are MOP only,
How do you guys process digital tips if you are not taking cash? If you guys are taking money out of the safe, wouldn’t the safe be short? Many thanks!

If I remember correctly, you’re supposed to take it out of the deposit. There is an option for digital tips when asked for reason for amount being changed.

What we did at my store was short the safe and create change orders essentially
We're in debt to brinks for physical cash I'm assuming being major companies they worked out a form of digital payment
However without clarification the idea has been too repay them gradually once we accept cash again.
We shouldn't have to do this much since the safe can hold us down for probably 10 days at the current rate
~a SSV who's store's already been open a month

thank you so much. I really needed this. I checked with a few others and my DM finally gave us an answer after 2 weeks of asking. The only thing my DM said was we could short the safe 😫

There's info on the hub. But the short version is that you should short the safe and par the tills. When you start taking cash again you'll bring the safe back to par.
