Anyone else surprised at Subway? I see them everywhere, but it's rare for me to see any customers.

Did some research, and Subway is willing to operate with much smaller profit margins. They have 12,000 more stores than starbucks, but less than half the revenue.

KFC surprised me 2 years ago. I went to a KFC in the Philippines and I was shocked KFC of all chains was in that country. Now that I’ve had that experience, I’m not as surprised as I would have been in the past to see KFC’s position in the list
