Apparently I’ve turned into a basic white girl. This happens nearly every shift:
Customer: I’ll have a Mango Dragonfruit
Me on DTO: Do you want that with lemonade or nawww?
Sometimes they answer back with nawww, which gives me some hope I’m not insane.

Haha naaah I love it man and if I were a customer it would make me giggle.
Sometimes I get kinda trolly and playful and if college girls order something and use the word literally I say it when I repeat back the order.
"Can I get venti matcha lemonade with literally no ice"
"Venti Matcha Lemonade with literally no ice! Anything else?"
It usually gets a laugh from the customers and coworkers.

My risky joke is always when someone comes in and says ‘can I just have a second?’ I’ll say ‘yeah sure no problem... okay a seconds up let’s go here.’ in a jokey tone.

I tease my coworker about it and call it her swamp water. My Starbucks is right by college dorms so we get a lot of matcha everything orders.

I hate matcha, but there's something about it in lemonade I love. I think it's the taste of lemonade, but a creamier texture. Anyway, I love my Shrek juice

I mean, you certainly could just be insane. I don't see a problem with that though, long as you enjoy it. And clearly you are entertaining some of your customers with it, or they are also showing you that they are insane. Maybe both?

Sometimes when someone says “I need a ___” I say “do you really NEED it tho” I only joke like that if I have the sense they’ll be okay with it idk sometimes it’s just a feeling you get like yea they’ll be cool let’s go for it
