To quit or not to quit? (self.starbucksbaristas)

I might get a new job soon with pretty good hours, I was thinking on continuing to work at Bux even though it’s my least favorite job I’ve ever had. The only reason I’m considering staying part time is for the perks (free coffee, headspace, Spotify) have any of you done this is it worth the little bit of extra income??

Depending on your store and what they allow for your minimum hours it can be worth it. For my store you have to be available for at least 3 days or 12 hours total. It is doable and the perks make it worth it for like 2 or so months

I work 2 jobs. Sbux in the AM from 6-12 and a nursing home from 2:30-7. Good money, but the nursing home pays much better but I like my Sbux team

I worked two jobs for about 10 months and it was insane hours but also insane money.
We also have a partner who works for the government and sbux but only works at the store like 10 hours a week. It never hurts to try both, and ask your SM about minimum hours at your store. I usually do it for the summer and cut way back when I’m in school.
