Am I a partner? (self.starbucksbaristas)

Hello all, so I was working at a starbucks on my college campus that was under another company and since everything that’s been happening, we had to shut down and I am now unemployed. I quite enjoyed the job and was going to apply to a corporate location when I was asked whether or not i’m a partner. This might sound dumb but do I select that I am a partner or should I just put no?

I don’t think so cuz for example, target Starbucks employees are employed by target not Starbucks. I think the way to think of it is if you don’t get partner benefits, you werent considered an “official” partner (you’re a partner in our hearts of course 🥰)

It’s easier to explain it as target is not Starbucks, they’re just licensed to sell our products.
So no Starbucks benefits.

No, you have not been a partner. Definitely put down your experience at university Starbucks! But at the point in the application where it asks if you are currently or have formally been a partner you mark off nope.
