My manager just had me apply for the cup fund because I have been having trouble with housing. I was evicted in the middle of this pandemic because my landlord was illegally renting to us. My roommate is also a frontline health care worker so I can’t return to work yet. Hoping I get approved for this because I could really use it. Anyone know how they choose who gets approved for it?

Hiya! I went through the CUP fund process and got approved. It was tough, but ultimately I was approved as soon as I sent the correct paperwork I needed. It doesn't take that long either, at least it didn't for me.

I had to wait around for them to email me for next steps. I had to keep submitting paperwork, but yeah. Have to just wait!

It will depend on what you need help with. I needed help paying my mortgage, so I had to send in with the application my mortgage statement. But it specifically had to say "past due" on it

They’re processing CUP fund apps super fast right now, no paperwork needed (at least that was me and my coworkers’ experience). I was approved the day after I applied, funds were in my account maybe two days later. $1 is the application form if you need it.
