Question about Catastrophe pay; Paycheck way smaller than it should be (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by Squidofthesea
Hey. I wanna preface this by saying i do plan to call the Support Center as well as my SM, and have a friend who's going to ask their SM as well, tomorrow. I just can't get an answer from them back yet seeing as its 1am, so I was hoping to get some insight here.

Okay so Im a relatively new partner, but i work averaging 35-38h/week. Yet my paychecks show i only get around 7 hours of CatPay a week.

Could this just be an error and ill be able to get it fixed my calling, or am i fucked

Hi! I’m an SM, perhaps I can help. If you decided to take the paid leave when it was offered on March 23rd- you get paid CAT pay for the average amount of hours you worked during fiscal weeks 19-22 which were February 3rd- March 2nd. If your average hours during that week were under 20 hours for some reason ( vacation, leave of absence, being a new partner) then you would just get the minimum average of 20 hours a week. Once you are back at work, or if you already are, instead of getting CAT pay, you’ll receive service pay which is an additional 3 dollars an hour until the end of May. It looks as through there may have been a glitch in the teamworks system if you did not get paid for that average. Your SM and partner contact center should be able to help you get it fixed. Our biggest priority is making sure partners are getting paid and have financial stability during this time. I hope you find this helpful!

I called Partner Resources (about an LOA) but the automatic voice system said that they are aware that there was an error in these last paychecks and they are working on getting it fixed.
