“Can I have two SATIVA’S in that?”(self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by ReEliseYT
So a customer in drive through asked if they could have 2 SATIVA’S in their coffee. Without missing a beat I responded “I’d love to but unfortunately that’s still illegal in this state” The customer laughed and asked for stevia.
I then had to explain to our GM that Sativa, generally speaking, is a family of marijuana known for their stimulant effects as opposed to Indica’s that have a more relaxing depressant effect. Yay explaining drugs to your employer😊

“Can I order that ‘speedball’ drink?”
Herry_Up23 points3y ago
How many sugar in the raw’s would you like for that?
Kyenne_Pepper1239 points3y ago
What the hell is that ?😂
lilBalzac19 points3y ago
It is an incorrect way of ordering the medicine ball which is also incorrect for a citrus defender, which we already hate making even when they don’t say it wrong.
Kyenne_Pepper12329 points3y ago
I thought the “Medicine ball” was the honey citrus mint. The citrus defender has been discontinued
lilBalzac9 points3y ago
You are correct... I been away for so long the POS seems like a distant memory... any way you order it, or whichever version, I know someone will drip honey somewhere and someone will catch their cold (hope it’s just a cold).
BaristaBabeSC1 points3y ago
“Honey Citrus Mint Tea” correct name.
HipsterWhistle5 points3y ago
I’ve literally had people say ‘can I get that drink... you know with the medicine?’
Megaladon5265 points3y ago
“I’ll take a trenta dragon fly spritzer”

One time in the Starbucks drive thru my sister ordered a tai chi latte . The barista was like, do you mean chai tea? And my sister was like, yeah, but I want mine with a little kick in it! And I was so impressed with her wit that day.
nyliag4 points3y ago
Someone posted in r/stoner 'just took two hits off that good stevia' and I D I E D

CWM44710 points3y ago

Stellar-naut2 points3y ago
Dude that happens so much, I am totally unaware of it 😂😂
monikitiki986 points3y ago
Don't forget that caramel muhchahtoh
Edit: There's a lady that comes to my store when pumpkin spice is released and has this order: "Hi. Can I get a PSL?" 🤦🏿♀️ lol just say pumpkin spice latte
Stellar-naut2 points3y ago
Or when people take 2 minutes to figure out how to put "salted cream cold foam cold brew" into a sentence "Yall have that salted foam cold cream brew??"
monikitiki983 points3y ago
Lol at that point I just intervene while they're saying it.
littleedge2 points3y ago
I’m trying to imagine pronouncing açaí like how you spell it but can’t.
Stellar-naut1 points3y ago
Well, either that way or, "ayasi", "akay", etc!! I'm sure you heard it all too 😂
sannstorm3 points3y ago
I was at Target with my younger sister looking for stevia packets and she yells “do they even HAVE sativa here?” hehe
GoldTurds-1 points3y ago
In states it is illegal, starbucks IS NOT AFRAID to FIRE you for being affiliated with a class 1 narcotic. Anywhere its legal, you're fine.
vonkrueger7 points3y ago
...they fire you for knowing things? 🤔
GoldTurds-0 points3y ago
Theyre protecting a 6 billion dollar company image. Yes, they will (in the states atleast)
