No hours for any partners (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by Alang453
So our store closed down a while back, the few who wanted to work were put in other stores, the rest, the majority of them, took cat. Now that may 4th is around, my boss apparently cant find any hours for any partners from our store, not including a couple who already have been working, theres about 30+ of us. She said we will continue to be paid up to our average amount of hours, is that reg or cat still? We’re having a zoom meeting soon but I was just wondering if anyone is going through the same and have any info? Thanks!

During April, the way cat pay worked was that you’d still be paid for your average amount of hours even if you got less hours you actually worked. For example if you had averaged 30 hours every week in February and only worked 18, then you’d still be paid the hourly rate in the 12 hours you did not get to work. That is how it worked in April and that will continue throughout the month of May.
