Basic drink measurements (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by hscavana
Hi so my store closed for COVID and is opening up tomorrow. The day we closed was my first day not training and I forgot most of the basic espresso making drinks. Could someone please give me the proportions?!

Hey! Do you mean like amount of syrup pumps & espresso shots per size?
hscavana [OP] 1 points 3y ago
Yes! Im sorry I wasn’t specific enough!

Oh you’re all good!
For iced drinks the syrup pumps are: tall - 3, grande - 4, venti - 6, trenta - 7.
espresso shots are: tall- 1, grande - 2, venti - 3.
For hot drinks syrup pumps are: tall - 3, grande - 4, venti - 5.
espresso shots are: tall - 1, grande/venti - 2

I hope others can comment for frappuccino pumps bc honestly my store is kinda a mess with those heh.. (This was a good warmup for me too since its been like 2 months lol)

*Frap pumps:
If it's a cold bar pump (weird shaped one), it's 2, 3, 4 (T, G, V,) if not it's 1, 1, 2 (T, G, V)

* That applies for frap roast, syrups, base, and scoops of inclusions (besides freeze dried fruit)

**Cold bar pumps:
3, 4, 6, 7 (Tl, G, V, Tr) BUT use the cold bar pumps.
If a customer wants a bar syrup, like raspberry, use half pumps like in the fraps 1, 1, 2, 2 (Tl, G, V, Tr)

**That applies to teas, pineapple ginger, pineapple macha, the new guava passionfruit drink, and all cold brew drinks

Freeze dried fruit: every size gets 1 scoop of fruit besides trenta, which gets 2.

Hopefully I was helpful and not confusing!
