Confused (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by bluehrse
Hi all
I need help with
Cold brew salted honey cold foam (and salted cream foam)

Nitro cold brew salted honey cold foam (and salted cream foam)

Iced cocoa cloud macchiato, iced cloud caramel macchiato,

I just get so confused on how to make the foams and if all of them are the foams or just sweet cream, also with syrups - cold brew and nitro don’t usually get syrup do they?
Also when it comes thru how to I differentiate that? Would it say SWC for sweet cream and CF for cold foam??

Thanks in advance

Hey! So here’s how I make them (I have never seen the actual recipe card so it could be wrong but I haven’t been corrected or had the drink returned so far) :

Salted honey CF:
Nonfat milk, honey blend syrup, 2packs salt, topped with the honey sprinkles

Salted cream CF:
Sweet cream, 2 salt packets

Caramel cloud foam:
vanilla syrup, 2% milk, scoops of cloud powder, topped with caramel drizzle

Cocoa cloud foam:
Toffee nut syrup, 2% milk, scoops of cloud powder, topped with caramel and mocha drizzle

all of these foams are made by blending on 3 (take it from me, blending on 1 will make quite the mess)

Edit: Cloud foam gets blended on 4. Sorry!

Nitro with whatever kind of cold foam is just nitro cold brew up to the bottom ridge of the cup and then topped with the foam

cold brew with whatever cold foam is just cold brew up to the top black line, light scoop of ice so that it only goes to the bottom ridge, and then topped with the foam.

All foam beverages get a nitro lid.

One drink that used to throw me off is the vanilla sweet cream cold brew (VSCB) but it’s just 1/2/3/4 pumps of vanilla, cold brew to top black line, ice to bottom ridge, splash of sweet cream at the top. This doesn’t have a foam so it gets a regular lid. When ordering this drink at another store it almost never gets made properly which is sad because I really like this drink. A lot of people assume it gets the regular 3/4/6/7 pumps but that is not the case and makes the drink wayyyy too sweet with the sweet cream in it.

Some people do order a sweet cream cold foam and it’s legit just sweet cream blended on 3. I believe when someone just asks for regular cold foam on top of something, it is standard to use nonfat because it foams the best.

This is just how I’ve been making everything, and feel free to correct or add on as needed haha. Hope this helps!!

Edit: To answer your other question all cold foam drinks will say CF on the label, and all drinks with sweet cream on top will say SC.

Omg this is sooo helpful!!!

Thank you so much!!

So when they want the sweet cream cold foam would it say something like SCCF???

When someone says they want sweet cream cold foam it doesn’t show up on the drink title like the other cold foams but it says “add vanilla cream cold foam” or something underneath it with the other modifications on the sticker. It actually says the word cold foam for you so you’ll definitely recognize it when you see it. Hope this helps! Feel free to reach out if there’s anything else I can help with! (:

Did they change it to 3 for espresso beverages? I've been out for a while, but the cloud etc always was blended on 4

Honey is cold brew with honey pump inside the drink. Foam nonfat milk with salt packets and pour on top. If it’s nitro no ice goes in it. Top with the honey topping.
