Honestly you don’t know the situation. I mean you can bring it up to your SM and let her/him know how you feel, but again you don’t know the situation. Yes her/his mother is a nurse, but maybe her/his mom isolates herself from her family during this time. I know plenty of nurses and doctors that keep a distance from there family and doing the precautions of taking their temperature, making sure they’re changing their clothes before going home, and showering right away.

If you feel uncomfortable ask to talk to your SM or any available shift. Tell them what’s going on and how you’re feeling. Ask to stay anonymous if it’s a concern of yours, and ask to talk privately.
