Honestly you have this risk with anyone you come into contact with (other coworkers etc) and there’s not much you can do about it.

You just won’t know what they come into contact with since they’re not posting it on facebook or wherever

I don't commute elbows to elbows with people who publicly post their inappropriate activities. I treat everyone as if they're infected and keep 10 feet away.

I got told off for enforcing 6 feet of space between me and others. An SM was telling a partner they can't get hours and social distance, they either are on reduced hours and reduced pay or they can deal with being close to others.

You can take a leave of absence, but no employer is allowed to tell an employee what to do or not do off the clock.

I can’t afford to not work for 30 days unfortunately

What do you think is the best option?

I feel I don’t have an option lol

Your partner is a giant asshole and I’m sorry you have to deal with that. Honestly ask if you can work hours that he isn’t. Since your SM knows you’re uncomfortable around him because of those reasons or should’ve fine. Plus you’re going to be paid your a ser age hours anyways so lightening your hour workload shouldn’t be that bad.
