How to make an iced cappuccino (self.starbucksbaristas)

So in like 2017 it was standard to do an iced latte then steam milk and scoop the hot foam onto the iced latte. Summer 2018 they introduced the cold foam cappuccino which was shots, nonfat milk and ice to the third line, then plan nonfat milk blended on 3 and put on top. Summer 2018, around when the clouds came out, they switched it so that the cold foam cappuccino was made with 2% milk with 2% foam on top. Then they discontinued it all together end of that summer lol.

Long story short, just ask them how they want it because there’s not even a button anymore and the recipe changes on this drink were ridiculous.

Thank you for this breakdown. Before the drink officially came out, I found people asking for it had no concept of what they wanted and were just confused (but then again I didn’t work at a real starbucks).

So glad I was there during ‘18 and got the official recipe or else I would prob just talk a customer into an iced latte hah

I was taught to do shots, little milk, and nonfat blended on 3 for the foam.

How do you ring it up? I was taught doing cappuccino and then iced was wrong?

Blend nonfat milk and a flavor (I do vanilla) until stiff

The standard for the cold foam cappuccinos before they discontinued it was plain nonfat blended on 3 with no syrup at all.
