The least they could do since they won’t freaking close is give us plexi glass in the windows with just a little slot to push the food through. Like other fast food places...but of course that would mess with their stupid precious “customer connection” crap scores since were not gonna talk through glass. And they could minimize the menu, but they’re too money hungry to do that.

I’ve read in other threads some partners said their stores were getting plexi shields installed soon ( why not already done??)
& —we should be provided with face shields to wear over the masks.
These are ingenious- unobtrusive & just 2 bux! Way more protective against sars-cov-2 droplets & certainly improves protection levels when combined with a mask.
If we’re ‘essential’ (& not ‘disposable’) we need to bd protected as such.
Will OSHA enforce proper safety protections?

It makes no sense why they didn’t install the plexi glass while stores were closed. My store closed for a couple weeks and they had plenty of time to install it before we reopened. I feel like if they were going to install them, then they would’ve done it previously.

We should use Rossann’s own words.
“Let’s be real, Lattes are not essential” -Rossann Williams
“You should never have to choose between work and taking care of yourself” -Rossann Williams

So you don't want to be open. So then Starbucks would close and you could all go on unemployment? The states are not going to like that. The economy is opening up. All kinds of industries. It's not just about "essential" anymore.

Yes. The virus is still a problem. But starbucks is not going to close all their stores and keep paying you all. Where do you think the money to pay wages comes from? It comes from sales. No sales. No money. No wages.
If you want to protest businesses opening. Then you need to take that fight to your government.

I empathize with your cause but I’m sure it would not go over well with upper management. However, I’m not entirely sure if it’s something to be fired for since you’re off the clock?
