I was so scared of working a DT store, but I totally loved it. Each have their own advantages and disadvantages and it depends on what environment you want. A mall store will be pretty different from a normal DT or cafe store though, and some are licensed and not corporate.

My DT is crazy busy. Line out the parking lot and into the street for many hours (6:30a-4:00p) and I'm not exaggerating. It's go go go your entire shift and breaks are actually needed. I'm physically and mentally tired after an 8.5 open or close. All that said, it's fun as heck. Most customers are happy as a clam to wait for their drinks. Partners bond because of the extreme demands and we're all in this together means something. It's not for everyone but if it's for you, it's freaking awesome.
