Problems with tips being dispersed? (self.starbucksbaristas)

Due to pandemic related banking preclusions we apparently are unable to process or receive our tips, are any other stores facing a similar issue or found a way to resolve this?

My spouse’s store uses the local coin star so far with no issue to convert the change.

Ya but coinstar takes 12% of your cash :/ I’d rather get coins than lose money lol

At my spouses store they keep the receipt and do a payout for the percentage taken. They’ve been doing that system since before the pandemic and it works well.

That’s so nice! I had a friend whose store did coinstar and the manager just let that percentage get taken away and did nothing about it. Some partners were pretty mad because they never agreed to it.

Ughh not cool. When I worked with my spouse we used to go to a local bank with a coin counter but sometime after I left the bank stopped letting bucks use the counter at all.
