Gotta get me some of that cold foam(self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by 2CentsMcGillicuddy
Hello all. I was hoping someone had the recipe to the salted cold foam? I have been enlightened and should have never tried the salted caramel cold brew. Now it's an addiction. Getting the Starbucks consistency of the cold foam has me at a loss. I was hoping i could get a helping hand. Thank you

It’s a mix of 2% milk and heavy cream with vanilla syrup in it! Then the salt goes in the blender to make the foam. You’re probably just missing the vanilla to make it sweet and the heavy cream to make it thicker.

Awesome. Would you happen to know the ratio?

We make it in batches from the steaming pitchers which have lines but my best guess is about 8oz of 2% and then 12oz of heavy cream and 13 pumps of vanilla in that. That could make like 5-10 drinks probably

Also it’s 1 salt packet for talls and grandes. 2 for ventures and trentas!

Steaming pitcher. 13 pumps vanilla. 2% milk to the tall line. Heavy cream to max line. We use 2 liter pitchers. Takes about 3 steaming pitchers to fill we also double blend , makes it super fluffy and creamy. 😊

Is it a certain kind of cream? I've tried skim milk, 1%- 3.25% milk, 18% table cream and 33% whipping cream. So far the 1% has been the most successful, firm and sweet just seems to be missing something. If you know what I mean. Thanks for the reply.
