we just had our re-opening meetings (self.starbucksbaristas)

we re-open on Thursday. I’ve been on cat pay for six weeks now and I’m actually kind of excited to get back to work, especially now that our emphasis is going to be on slowing down our pace (at a very high volume DT store) and really pushing customer connection above all else.

how do the customers seem? have they been worse or better over the last few weeks? rude customers are what I’m most worried about because that was one of the things that convinced me to take the time off.

Im a closer, and I’ve noticed a lot more people accusing us of ringing them up wrong and changing their orders at the window. Like. A ridiculous amount. I’m not sure what’s up with that but I’m grateful I don’t get put on window very often because some people are beyond horrid

We were one of the few stores in our area to remain open, were DT only. Customers over all have been grateful with The usual rude people sprinkled in. Though I will say we having been making an insane amount in tips lately so that’s something to look forward too maybe?

They’ve been great at my store. But we never really had any issues, just the very rare minor complainer.

Customers have been chill at my store. (I’m a closer though so that might have an influence on my reply here, as most night customers are pretty chill from my experience.)

But it hasn’t been bad at all for me! I was anxious to go back to work. I actually covered at a different store my first couple days back that it notorious for being Very busy and it was Very Slow!

I feel that when it’s slow the customers are easier to deal with even if they are rude. It was nice to get back to work and have some connection with partners and customers again!
