Refeshers and iced teas proper build? (self.starbucksbaristas)
submitted by legolassssssss
No one at my store could agree on this.

So when it's refresher would it be to the tea line and then water to the ice line or is that too much water? And then to the tea line and lemonade to the ice line or would you put water for the inclusion line and then lemonade only in the lemonade part?

Same kind of issue with shaken iced teas, the only obvious ones are the guava and peach with lemonade.

Thanks haha.

Refresher: refresher to the tea line, water/lemonade to the ice line, berries, ice, shake

Tea: tea to the tea line, water/lemonade to the ice line, lcs, ice, shake

Tea with peace/guava: tea to the tea line, infusion to the infusion line, water/lemonade to the ice line, lcs, ice, shake

That's how we do it anyway :)

so would you always put water and lemonade or just lemonade to the ice line?

just lemonade for tea lemonades.

I’m guilty of putting tea/refresher to the inclusion line (when it’s just tea/refresher & water/lemonade) bc I feel like otherwise it’s too watered down.....but that’s probably not right

That's what another person at my store does too haha we couldnt decide who was right

Pretty much all teas and refresher bases at Starbucks are concentrates. So the recipe will always call for either water, lemonade or coconut milk to help delude/balance it. However, you will never do two at once (water *and* lemonade, for example). It’s either one or the other, not both.
