I am going to be a freshman in college this fall, but with corona I'm not sure if schools will be open. I was wondering if I could do asu online for the fall semester, and then "transfer" back to my university in the spring (in hopes schools are open..) If anyone could give me feedback I'd love you forever 💗

I once tried to take a course over the summer but they told me I’d have to sign up for an entire degree.

Is your university not offering classes online?

they are but i'd have to pay for it! i'm just thinking it would be a no brainer to take them at asu since it'll be free (:

If you do take them at asu, you’d have to be careful of which classes can transfer over to your university.

You should also check to see if you can apply as a transfer for spring as a freshman. Some university’s only allow fall transfer, or require 60 units of transfer. You could defer your enrollment but they’d want to check your grades before letting you back into the school.

Ya you could enroll as a student and then technically drop out after the fall and transfer those credits
