Soooo, I have a problem. Once the announcement that the COVID-19 had been deemed a pandemic. I stopped working on the 20th of March (because I was not gonna risk catching anything) and my store officially closed on April 12th. So now it’s going to be May 20th soon and I’m worried that I’m not going to remember how to make drinks (like the Frappuccinos or specialty drinks) anymore. Any other partners in the same predicament?

i had the same concern but it’s like riding a bike! once you’re behind the bar it’s all muscle memory again. ask for extra bar time during slower periods and i’m sure your shift will help you out. you’ll be okay!

You'd be surprised at how quickly it all comes back. Sequencing might take a bit of work but really the drinks haven't changed and you'll be able to pick it up again pretty quickly. I have faith in you!

Not sure how long you worked before this, but you will definitely remember when you get on bar. Very much a muscle memory thing!

I just came back on Monday after being gone since October - I had a few screw ups on bar & POS but I got used to the environment again and it really is just like riding a bike.

Edit: I worked from last May-October, so not very long but I still remember everything
