Is 44 a lot? Depends on the context. Dollars, no. Pumps, yes. (i.redd.it)

At what point can we say no to shit like this 😓😓😓

Well, corporate is tired of giving out cups full of refresher concentrate without ice or water, so apparently there IS a limit! I just saw a new recipe card that is pretty clear that a no water, no ice refresher is supposed to be half empty. The question is: how hard do you want to fight every day to enforce rules on a customer base unaccustomed to rules? It is tricky at this point. My attitude going back is basically if they wear a mask and don’t act like jerks I will give them what they want. I will save my energy enforcing sanitation and distancing stuff for now (just my approach, ymmv, I wish you all luck however you work your shifts right now!)

I honestly think they should just add an extra charge for no water/no ice refreshers and call it a day.

Thank you! I haven’t had time to read the new cards with only having two shifts and a brand new Sm for the last 2 weeks, and one of the shifts calling in for 2 days everything has been on me!! I can’t wait to go to work tomorrow and do this!

I’m not finding that on the hub or the iPad, how is it worded?

What I saw was a picture of a new recipe card (had a date in small print at the bottom that said 3/2020). It was shown to me by a barista who got new cards at her store. It was yesterday or Wednesday that I saw it, and I do not believe I have the cards yet in my store. I wish I had better info for you.

ETA: and to answer your question, it was not a policy statement saying “we ask partners to hand off half empty cups” but it just made it clear on the card that you do not add additional concentrate in place of water. If you shake it like 100 times it might foam up enough to be a little fuller looking. Lol. We will see how this goes, and how much they really want us to follow it, or if we revert to giving them what they want no matter what... whatever happens, someone will have ruffled feathers over it.

Awesome, thank you so much! I’m going to find the damn card.

With cream and a triple shot? Barely any room for iced coffee after that

We need limits....

Over the line, Smokie, mark it 9 pumps or you are entering a world of pain. This is not ‘Nam, Smokie. There are rules here. Enter that 44 pump mobile order and you are entering a world of pain.

I showed my sm this order and he wants to know if they’re still alive.. lmao

Does being in a diabetic coma count as living?

i always make sure to give these customers the full amount of ice. if you’re getting 44 pumps then i guess you’re getting a splash of iced coffee
stinkersmell 7 points 3y ago
I don't even think it matters to them if there's iced coffee in their iced coffee

The sticker placement triggers me more than the drink to be honest. Just a little more to the left.
