Hey guys,
So I have a significant skin condition that has been very inflamed by wearing a mask. It’s to the point that my dermatologist has strongly advised against wearing one for extended periods of time (longer than 30m) Has anyone else had similar issues and what solution did you find with your manager? I’m afraid of losing my job if I refuse to wear it but at this point I’m damaging my skin.
Let me know the best way to approach it with my manager!

I have s coworker with PTSD from an ex trying to suffocate her with a pillow and the mask triggers that. She has recommendations from her therapist to use one of those plastic full face shields and PCC won't let her. I'm not sure if they will make any exemptions.

I agree. She has a second job that allows the full face shield so luckily she is still able to make money. Pretty shitty of Starbucks though.
