I feel like this is 100% dependent on the precautions of the state you live in. In NYC you can get fined very easily, but places like Iowa never even had a stay at home order

okay in SC at least our cafe is opening but not for seating and we even took down all of our patio seating too. our restaurants are just now opening up but its honestly just personal discretion when it comes to that. but lol about having “personal rights and freedoms stripped” sorry you cant sit???

that’s how mine was too in PA before shutting down and i think we’re going right back to that when we open next week!! i heard some places were doing the ‘taking orders at the door’ thing too but we were mobile only and tbh it worked really well.
and i know, the entire tone of this rubbed me the wrong way with her “my poor child asks me why this is happening, this SICKENING world we live in now” like spare me lmao.

this is so fake lmao but anyway, we've put all our patio seating up, and if someone DOES stand around we ask them to leave. we had to ask a whole family to leave once because they were just standing there with their drinks.
