Its partially how we make it. Our mocha powder is mixed with hot water. Its way too watery to me. Maybe its because I KNOW that the syrup is mixed with hot water and customers dont. But thats all I could think of when I tried it, that powdery texture..

It has a really powdery texture to me I find hard to explain.
Kinda similar to when I get to the bottom of a cup of coffee I made with a metal pour over. I get near the bottom and it feels like extremely fine grounds going down my throat, minus the coffee taste.
