Just got a text from my boss saying my shift was cut today because of "scheduling restraints" (self.starbucksbaristas)

I was supposed to close tonight but got a text saying not to come in because my store didn't earn enough hours.
This is probably only the start I'm sure people will start getting less and less hours and lays offs to follow.

Yeah our manager just told us they’re going to have to start cutting hours. With the extra $3 ending soon too AND we’re probably switching to grab & go soon so reopening cafe area. It’s all such a fucking joke

Our hours have been cut, and we have been busier than ever! Like it never stops, idk how they can justify cutting hours when we were open for a shorter period of time but made the same amount in sales as a normal day?!?!?
