What I said was “oh my gosh this mans kids are literally sooo annoying.” The thing about it is that I actually really love kids. I babysit a lot of kids and grew up being the oldest sister of my five siblings. This mans kids were not annoying. They started chatting me up and telling me about their day. It was actually a really sweet moment. I don’t know why I felt so frustrated after the conversation.

Hmmm. I know when I am a customer through a drive thru I can’t hear inside the store. However, I’m sure your lesson was learned but if you are frustrated it’s good to leave your comments until you are in the BOH or there are no customers around. I’m sure they didn’t hear, but if they did then the worst that could happen is they complain and you get a write up. Even a write up isn’t the end of the world. Just be more careful next time :)

If you were facing away from the window, even if the window was completely open, they must likely couldn't hear you. I work DT constantly
