i don’t. our SM gathered us and said the store is in debt $60000 to corporate for shutting down and we need to cut costs wherever we can. when benefits end on the first, my hours were HALFED. so was everyone’s . we’re café only and doing 60% of the business we did before closing.

Damn. I’ve been seeing so many partners sharing the petition to keep our cat pay increase, and have been thinking a lot. At the same time, everyone’s hours at my store have been slashed (I have seven hours next week...and I’m looking for a second job so). I have to agree with you. Yes, the company SHOULD pay us a livable wage, but realistically they’re not gonna without slashing labor.
