A lady came thru our drive thru and said she didn’t want her drink anymore because we weren’t wearing gloves, yet this lady wasn’t wearing a mask.

They should be required to wear masks, or they can’t be served. Why do we have to when they don’t? It’s so stupid how some customers get pissed about shit like this...DON’T EAT OUT IF YOU’RE SO WORRIED! STAY HOME WE DON’T WANT YOU NEAR US!!! God these stupid customers piss me off so much.

I explicitly told my manager that if she wants to serve them that's fine. But I would not be doing that and if she wants to protect her baristas then she should refuse service too. And it's a different kind of refuse service- it's not refusing service based on skin color or religion Etc. It's based on safety.
But honestly if my manager tried to make me serve people still I would leave and come back with a lawsuit ... but I have a lawyer uncle so I understand that's not what everyone wants to do or can afford to do. But I bet you calling the partner care line would be pretty good too

I’ve been saying this the entire time. I want consistent thinking here. If somebody is that worried/freaking out then stay home. The only people going out should be the people who either don’t care or don’t believe the stuff they’re hearing. I had one lady wipe down her card before she gave it to me and wipe it down again when I gave it back. If you’re that worried, stay home.

In defense to the mask, I am in Texas and everything has opened so there isn’t anyone wearing masks around here. The workers still are but no one else that’s in the stores or at the restaurants/drive thru. Not saying it’s right, but that’s how it is here right now. 😱

I live in Arizona and it is the same here. There are definitely some people wearing masks, but for the most part no one is anymore.

When my county is one of the hot zones and we do everything we can to stay clean but you as a customer don’t do anything but act like we are the dirty ones I’m going to react like that.
