So a gentleman or man because he wasn’t gentle at all came through drive-thru he ordered and then the order was repeated back to him again even at the window because at the time our speaker is literally across from the bus stop so every time a loud vehicle or bus comes around we can barely hear them. Anyways we had repeated the order to him at the window as well and he said yes that is correct. We hand him his drinks and he drive off. 10-15 mins later he comes through drive thru again and starts yelling at the speaker. One of the new baristas we have was on the speaker having to deal with this man. She told him to come around to the window and can resolve your problem. He said that he did not order this drink which was a hot venti almond milk latte. EVEN THOUGH we were pretty sure heard him say it and repeated the order to him TWICE speaker and window. He gets to the window and our supervisor was helping him to just do a refund. It would have been all fine and everything but the man was yelling and causing a scene over a supposed mistake we made. If he had been nice or calm and not started off with yelling we would’ve been able to help him. My supervisor asked him to calm down but the man kept yelling and even going louder. My supervisor had enough and just closed the drive thru window on him as the man was yelling more and more at him for practically nothing. If you had been calm we could’ve helped you but this guy was being unruly and aggressive. My supervisor did the refund opened the window gave the receipt to the guy and closed it once again as he yelled more then drove off.
Tbh i think this man just wanted a free drink just like those who around my area are pretending to be nurses to get a free cup of coffee until they learn they need a badge. I love the company but i don’t think we are being that taken care of during this time and more needs to be done to take care of us.

This further reinforces the fact that I will BEND OVER BACKWARDS for a nice customer. All I want is to be treated with the respect we treat you with. I have remade a girl’s drink four times because it wasn’t quite right, but she was SO kind to me.

It’s impossible to “make the moment right” if all the customer wants is a fight.
