Is there any way I might be hired? (self.starbucksbaristas)

With all this corona stuff, is there any way any of my applications will be accepted? I live in a fairly urban area, but I know they’re cutting hours like crazy and probably trying to lay off as many people as possible. I know a lot of people get more from unemployment than from working so I’m hoping that means they’re in need of baristas but idk. I’m hoping my new coworkers won’t hate me for taking even more hours either. Even if I get limited hours, is there any possibility I will get hired? I’m a former partner btw, worked there two years ago.

I just started two weeks ago! Definitely worth it to try. Apply to as many locations as you can

Yeah it really depends on the store. We're a DT only anyway so not much has changed and we're taking on all the customers from the closed cafes - up 20% or something in customers rn. So we would probably be more open to hiring than a cafe. It might be hard to get consistent communication right now though.

Depends on the store. Some are hiring some aren’t. Best bet is to apply, follow up with a manager and ask if they’re hiring.
