Personal cups and food (self.starbucksbaristas)

Does anyone know if there’s anything on the partner hub about baristas bringing there own cups to use at the store? I know we’ve been told not to have them out in the lobby or on the floor. What about at our break area? I have several partners who bring them in and several that complain that they do. Is there anywhere I can find the rule about this? Also they have said if they can’t bring there cups people shouldn’t bring outside food in to eat on their breaks. Thanks 😊

Can't come in contact with our storage methods or equipment. So nothing in the fridge outside the dedicated Partner Food bin, no putting water in cups, whatever.

But a lunchbox in your backpack and a water bottle you brought from home is fine.

So If I brought in my hydroflask to drink water out of all day and had it on the same shelf as all the partner beverages. That would be fine, right? I've been trying to figure out what the rules are with this too.

I wouldn't personally have an issue with it and don't see any reason it would be a problem. It's just as much a disease concern as everyone else's cup. The problem is it coming into contact with barista hands and then our shared equipment.

So as long as you don't refill it at work and wash your hands after drinking, as everyone should do regardless of vessel, it should be fine.
